Paramedics attend to 152 patients in Grand Mosque
 Fri, 03 Sep 2010

KUWAIT: The Media Coordinator of the Paramedic Department Abdul-Aziz Bu Haimed stated that paramedics have dealt with 152 cases at the Grand Mosque as worshippers observe the last ten days of Ramadan.
The official called on worshippers not to eat excessively during iftar to prevent stomachache during prayers, adding there were cases of back pain.
He took the opportunity to appeal to all motorists to park their cars in convenient places in order not to hinder the access of ambulances.
Security patrols were at hand to facilitate traffic and to make the Grand Mosque accessible by pedestrians. Undercover security agents were also present to prevent thefts.
Policewomen are equally playing an important role for they can readily deal with their female worshippers.
