Liquor factory, complete with staff operating in old Khaitan

  KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: The Farwaniya police recently raided an old house in Khaitan and which had been turned into a liquor manufacturing factory by a Kuwaiti man who is believed to be in his 40s, whose identity has not been disclosed pending further investigations, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to a security source a police patrol saw an Asian man driving a private car overcrowded with people. Police ordered the motorist to pull over and while checking their identities police got the smell of booze.
Securitymen then searched the car and seized 50 bottles of booze from the motorist. During interrogation the Asian told police he is employed by a Kuwaiti man to manufacture booze and that his salary was KD 120.
The Asian then led police to the house and arrested three other Asians. During interrogation all the arrested people said the same thing that they are employed by the Kuwaiti.
Police then raided the home of the Kuwaiti in Old Khaitan and arrested him. During interrogation he is said to have admitted to using the house to manufacture booze.
