Nine people involved in attacking Al Watan interrogated

  KUWAIT: Nine people involved in breaking into Al Watan TV few days ago and clashed with police and damaged some of the contents of the building and also some cars of its staff, have been interrogated by the Public Prosecution. Three people have been released after investigation proved that they are not with the attackers. Meanwhile, the winner in the parliamentary elections in the Third Constitution Mohammad Al-Juwaihil testified before the investigation authorities on the background of the complaint filed against him by some people accusing him of defamatory. Al-Juwaihil said that he did not insult a specific category during the symposium held in his electoral headquarters. The security authorities escorted the nine defendants to the Court Complex located in Riqi by vehicles belonging to the General Administration of Special Forces amid tight security measures. Special Forces have been deployed in the area in order to deal with any emergencies. Al Watan was informed that the nine defendants confessed during initial investigations that they took part in the incident and informed authorities of those who incited them to carry out the attack. They said that one of the inciters was in the scene but he left before the security forces intervened to disperse them, assuring that the same person was the one who asked them through social networking to assemble in front of Al Watan TV.
