KUWAIT: In line with its strategy aiming at encouraging its employees for the “Best in the Business” conduct, and recognizing their performance and efficiency at work, Al Sayer Group (ASG) has rewarded its distinguished departments according to the highest CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) measures. All employees of ASG attended the ceremony held at the Convention Center. Employees from all grades had the opportunity to be closely around and in the presence of the board members and senior management of ASG. They listened to the Group’s Chairman Nasser Al Sayer and Vice Chairman Faisal Al Sayer speeches, followed by the CEO Mubarak Al Sayer and the COO Paul Reynolds speeches. There was a presentation by HR GM Jacques Feghali explaining in details the “Best in the Business” BIB for the year 2012 training program under the new theme “The One Team”. On this occasion, the chairman Nasser Al Sayer welcomed and thanked the attendees saying: “The last financial year 2010/11 has been one of the most difficult in recent years. During the year we have had disruption to most of our supplies from Lexus and Toyota vehicles to tires, from Heavy Equipment to spare parts, from Japan, Europe, USA, and Thailand – all are interlinked. First the Tsunami and the terrible nuclear disaster in Japan, and then, and to an extent still now, flooding in Asia leading to more delays and cuts to our shipments. All in all, we lost about 20% of our supply. However, thanks to the strong efforts by all of you, to maximize the performance of all your activities, we were still able to come out of the year with a good result. Thank you for that. It is your professionalism and the care for our customers who have enabled the Company to withstand such shocks, and still come out growing. Indeed in spite of the difficulties there were record performances by a number of Divisions, and our CSI performance grew significantly to its best ever level since we began to focus on it 15 years ago. Both of these achievements are recognized and rewarded. Therefore; our distinguished talents and their achievements are encouraged for exerting more efforts and giving, ASG is keen to reward and recognizes its distinguished employees”. Chairman also explained “Our employees are at our top priority; therefore, ASG pays a great attention to consolidate the culture of excellence by providing various programs and initiatives that contribute in promoting the efficiency and skills of our employees. Also ASG strives to honor employees for their excellent work and performance at individual or team levels”. On the other hand, Mubarak Al Sayer CEO, and Paul Reynolds COO stressed that: “As ASG launches several initiatives and programs aiming at rewarding and promoting its employees, the results are outstanding. We got to where we got to last year through great professionalism and great customer focus. We shall be celebrating the detail of the CSI results by honoring and rewarding the highest achievers, but I would like to say a collective congratulations and thank you for the best ever results: For External CSI, out of 46 outlets measured, 39 are above 90 (of which 19 are above 95). This is what our customers say about us. For Internal CSI, almost all measured Departments are above 90, as well. Ultimately though, our key objective is to offer the most outstanding service in the market for a reasonable price at convenient timings and days. And everyone here contributes to that service one way or another depending on what the customer actually wants or needs. All Trading and Central Services staff by working together can ensure this outstanding service level, and “working together” is the operative phrase”. During the final presentation by Jacques Feghaly GM HR, explained that ASG considers its human resources as a key element for developing its performance and the main pillar to achieve excellence at all levels”. He stressed on the “Importance of urging the factors of excellence and team work which are usually correlated with high CSI”. He described the steps ASG will be taking through BIB and other sources to give the employees all the information they’ll need to be a part of the Al Sayer First Team, and he elaborated about the value of Teamwork”. He added: “Team work is one of the key factors for the success of any organization, therefore, ASG is keen to provide suitable environment to its employees to reap the seeds of their success and the excellence of ASG through them. We urge also all employees to take the initiative by developing themselves and working hard to achieve success and excellence in their career at ASG to stand out and achieve the highest levels of pioneer-ship and distinguished performance”. The ceremony also included an entertaining show exhibiting “Team Work” followed by trophies distribution and dinner.
