IKEA Kuwait launches biggest in-store National Flag

KUWAIT: In lieu of the Kuwait National Day and Liberation Day, IKEA Kuwait designed the biggest in-store Kuwaiti flag with colorful cushions to boost the spirit of the month. As part of a larger initiative to celebrate this auspicious month, IKEA Kuwait also launched a series of activities to cater to every member of the household.

To add to every shopper's overall experience, a wide array of interactive games and dining options were launched apart the Febtastic Eid prizes to look forward to this month. 20 lucky customers get the opportunity to participate in a draw to win IKEA Gift Cards worth up to KD 10,000 for every KD 20 spent during the month long campaign. Last day to enter the draw is February 29 at 10 p.m. after which the grand draw will take place on March 1, 2012 at 7 p.m.

To add to the festive celebrations, IKEA Kuwait shoppers are given the opportunity to try a new dish on selective days of the week at the IKEA Kuwait restaurant and Bistro for only 0.950 fils each and a different game they can enjoy with the whole family. A total of 182 red, green, white and black Granat cushions were used to construct Kuwait's biggest flag of which, each are on sale for only KD 1.250. The Biggest flag was created in an effort to spread the cheer of freedom and to serve as a symbol of the country's liberation.

The family activities will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the IKEA store with the restaurant opening hours on the weekdays starting from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on the weekends. IKEA Kuwait urges everyone to participate in this grand celebration and enjoy the daily thrill of shopping at the IKEA store.
