For all those who have trade-in their iPhones for Samsung’s new Galaxy S4 Smartphone, you guys may want to rejoice as seven carriers in the US will get the smartphone this month according to an announcement by Samsung itself. These carriers include AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Cricket and C Spire plus the device will also be available from a number of retailers including Best Buy.
Samsung’s Galaxy S4 comes equipped with a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, it is powered by a 1.9GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM, and will run the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out the box once it hits the US market. The S4 will be available in the storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot.

“The Galaxy S line of smartphones has achieved momentous success with 100 million in unit sales worldwide in less than three years. This validates that we are addressing what consumers want from a smartphone,” said Dale Sohn, president of Samsung Telecommunications America. “The fourth generation of Samsung’s flagship device builds upon the tradition of excellence and provides consumers with even more innovation that simplifies and redefines the way individuals will interact with their Galaxy S 4. We believe this device will be a true companion to all aspects of a consumer’s life from work, to travel and even watching TV.”
