VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Network Engineer for one of its clients which is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company in Qatar with the following Skillset & terms and conditions.
Key responsibilities
Executes troubleshooting methodology and root‐cause analysis to resolve complex and advanced level problems.
Assists in testing, adjusting, and installing equipment to meet provisioned request SLA’s.
Executes systems maintenance plans to proactively manage reliability and service expectations.
Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide network users, and to assist with the on‐going operation, maintenance, and development of the network.
Drives problems to resolution, handling multiple complex issues simultaneously while effectively communicate and engage cross functional technical peers.
Adheres to the agreed event management notification and escalation procedures.
Perform periodic reviews of Configuration Items (CIs) to ensure compliance with policies and standards, and process thorough operational readiness tasks.
Configures, develops, integrates, implements and regularly maintains network solutions.
Supports implementation/deployment of network enhancements or new network designs.
Assists peers and utilises software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose problems and factors affecting network performance.
Define procedures for system and component installation, acceptance testing and install proactive maintenance activities
Coordinates problem resolution, creates problem record, determines severity and prioritization classification,
Evaluates, and recommends hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment to enhance the performance of network design and systems
Minimum Qualifications & experience:
Minimum 8 years’ experience in relevant field:
Routing protocol i.e. OSPF, BGP and MPLS
Routing/switching/security/& Wireless technologies
Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
CCNP, CCVP, CCIE or equivalent experience
Data center industry certifications
Certified in ITIL framework and processes.
In design, configurations, and support concepts
Troubleshooting methodologies, steps, and tools
Solid expertise in building and maintaining architectural diagrams
Advanced experience with IPCC, OCS, UCS solution and products.
Experienced with data center design, implementation, and event handling services
Expertise with interconnectivity services ie MDF, and IDF in a heterogeneous model
Operates following security policies, procedures and standards to manage consistent products and services
Experience with deploying VCE technology and configurations
